Here is my Bicycle Mobile amateur radio
station consisting of an FT-817 HF-VHF-UHF radio, HF and VHF/UHF antenna, and battery. The
station can also be charged from a flexible solar panel mounted over the rear
wheel carrier. This bike is a work in progress and represents a lot of fun.

In talking with bike enthusiasts, I've been learning about many considerations for mounting and using radios and antenna. I'll be sharing these on these pages in the future. Some of the considerations are weight, center of gravity, affect on rider mount/dismounts, weather proofing, safety, and more.
